Published quarterly, Permits provides a comprehensive overview of construction trends throughout the year. Since it began publication in 1989, the quarterly permits reports has tracked residential and non-residential permit activity.  Each issue provides an overview of permitting activity by jurisdiction and census tracts while the annual summary addresses over-arching trends and themes that occurred in the preceding year.

Beginning in 2007, the quarterly permits reports will be replaced by a series of downloadable spreadsheets that encompass all data currently tracked by the Planning Commission with additional material, previously unavailable. The annual summary will continue to be published in the format readers have grown accustomed to using.
